Today I will be showing my optical illusion on my summer learning journey activity. What is optical illusion ? Optical illusion is a pattern that is confusing on the human eye. Here and example
Can you see that the first illusion has lines that connect each other but it's not true. Because of angle of the cube if you don't take of an angle like that it will turn like this.
Hint if you turn to the right you see it's just an ordinary cube
My optical illusion is a triangle. First fail it was a Lego one it look like this.
I couldn't do this because I not have ant blocks to built it. Then I change to google drawing. it much more easier to do it. Here my work.

Today I will be showing my first Summer Learning Journey activity in 2020-2021 . The first activity is a tool called art coloring book. Art coloring book is coloring online picture. You can pick a picture to color. when you pick it the picture turn white and you can color it. You simply click the color and tap the parts of the picture. If your done you have download the picture.
Why
I did this because it's a summer learning activity. We have to watch the video to tell us what to do . I picked the under the wave of Kanagawa because it's a Japanese art. When I finished coloring the picture. We have to download the picture and we have to make a copy of the google drawing. Then we put are picture and put the normal picture. Then we explain why are picture is different than the normal one. Last part we have blog. Here my work.

Today I will be showing my ballet poem. Then I present it on a google drawing.
First I will telling how it started. Ballet was started on the 15 centuries on France. France was the first country to started ballet. But King Louis the XIV was a king that invented ballet. Back to the poem. Our teacher told us to watch or search what is ballet is. After that we think some rhyming words and start our poem. My poem has some rhyming words. After we have finished, we present it on a google drawing. I put some history facts about it. Here is my awesome work I have done.

I was stuck with ballet dancers,
I was stuck and I kept saying yuck,
The dancers spin like a tin,
The background was green like mold
and their costume were gold.
The dancers were thumping
because they were jumping,
They jump with all of there might
but there shoes were too tight

This term will be learn what is social sciences. Our teacher made a slide with words and we have to guess what it means. You be wondering how is this social sciences ? Well I actually think the words has describing of a group of people. Anyway back to the slide. We have to guess the words what it means. We can't look it up on google. When we finished the slide we have to put 5 photo in each word. Here's my awesome work and instructions that I have done.

#1 Create a definition each word.
#2 Draw your own picture on Google Drawing OR find at least 5 images that represent the word on each slide.

Welcome back to my blog ! This week were going to learn surface features. Surface features is like little thing in your writing to make it correct like. Putting full stop on a sentences, spelling and punctuation. Why we have to do this ? Because if you you don't use surface features it might look like this. Here a example.

If you use surface features, this sentences actually make sense. But is really hard to read.
On our room 9 writing site our teacher put a link to a story. The story doesn't have surface features. We did to make a copy of the document and read on the top of the document to us what to do. The first part we did to find the end of the sentences and put a full stop and put the capital letter on the start of the sentences. The second part we highlighted the most repeated word and change it. The final part we need to find how many sentences start the same way. Unfortunately I didn't get to do it because I run out of time. Here my work.

He kept absolutely still as the footsteps got louder he tried not to suffocate as he laid under the bed he was wondering what had happened to his brother and his family. The man with the knife in his hand stormed around the house. Mums had boyfriends before but we had not thought that they would ever find us maybe he was one of them looking for revenge but why would he come. mum would just move and how did he find us we live on the other side of the planet from where all of mums boyfriends were so how could he find us he might have put a tracker on mum when he last saw her or on one of the devises ‘Hello where are you I know your here you're going to tell me where you're mother is or you shall join your father... in the skies so which will it be death or freedom you have 10 seconds chose wisely’.

Today I will be posting my descriptive writing. The Descriptive writing is a writing slide of photos to write on the present tense. We also do senses, the sense has a language features on like. Seeing, hearing feeling touching smelling. We to put as many language features and senses. Then we put on paragraphs. Here my awesome work that I have done.
Write a description of a moment in time imagining you are at a family birthday with trying to get organised for a big photograph.
Try to use as many language features as possible to include all the senses.
Try to keep your writing to three paragraphs.
Write in present tense.
Hearing - onomatopoeia, dialogue
Seeing - metaphor, personification
Smelling - hyperbole, strong verbs and adjectives, simile
Feeling - hyperbole, metaphor, alliteration
Touch - simile, strong verbs and adjectives

“ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU” A horde of people singing
My friends and family were as loud as a singing whale. The horde of people crowded to the back to take a photo. We were cramped like trees close to each other and touching there each other's branches. I could smell the strong amroa of food it was getting attention from people. The birthday was colorful like a rainbow. The balloons fit it with colour and their camouflage as a chameleon.
The friends and family were eating the food and the cake like rabbits eating a carrot.
“ MUNCH CRUNCH MUNCH CRUNCH”
We were so full after eating the food. The cake tasted a mouth full of sugar.We were feeling our stomach was big as a elephant. I was thinking I was about fall like turtle on its back. When we walk we were slow as a snail. But DJ was blasting the music it was like a concert.
We were jumping up and down like a kangaroo. were about to make a earthquake by jumping. After we jump for 5 minutes. Are feet felt like it been chopped off. We leave the party and clean everything up like a butler.

Today I will be showing you two of my writing. One of them is my failed writing. Why is it a failed writing? Well let me explain. I was trying to make a simile and a hyperbole rap. The rap tells you some simile and hyperbole. When I was starting to make the writing I search up what rhymes with simile and hyperbole. I used the rhyming words to do my rap about it. When I made the first line it didn't make sense. When I got up on seven line I give up because it was to hard and people won't understand it.
Then I restarted my writing and made a story about. a mysterious stone that can gain power landed on my house. I didn't have enough time to finished. But I learnt something. You can learn from your mistake and I was able to use more language features in my story.
Here's my writing.
“COOK COOK COOK” My alarm went off.
I grab my book and throw it at the alarm. Luckily I missed. I slowly stand up like a sloth. Suddenly I heard a powerful whistle. It was getting louder. I felt my ears falling off. Suddenly a shock wave hit my house
“ ZZZZZ BOOM”
I was flying when it hit me. I slammed the wall and I saw a weird object was on the floor. I quickly crawled to it like a baby checking it out. The object opened and a purple rock was inside of it. A letter was on it and read it like a flash. It said. You're the chosen one, grab this rock and restore the balance of the world. I squeezed it. Then it shattered like glass. I said to myself
“ How do I restore balance of the world when I don’t have anything use” I questioned myself
Suddenly I felt a huge pain in my body.
Simile and Hyperbole rap/fail
Emily was using a simile, with her family, her smile was, our tree was high like a skyscraper, Emily still using a simile, She said I was slow like a sloth, But she learned hyperbole because it was similar like a simile. Emily said she could light up a town by her smile, her hyperbole was perfectly.

Today I will be posting my blog post. Unfortunately this is the last writing blog post. This blog is about checking our writing for deleting repeated words, using paragraphs and putting punctuation. Last week we didn't finished our story and we make it better. Here's my awesome work that I have done.
“ZZZZZZZZZZ” Keni was charging his energy beam . I could feel my hopeless body about to end. He was almost finished charging his energy beam. I tried to move my body but it was a frozen block of ice.
Hours earlier I think this can’t get any worse. I was chilling at my home and I was watching the news. The news was talking about a villain. They had destroyed the mayor’s house and the mayor now wants to capture the villain.
Keni was my brother. I knew him when I was born, but he went missing soon after. Little did I know that Keni was on top on my roof. He was staring at me so long that his eyes might explode.
Suddenly a beam of light was going into my apartment. The beam of light hit my wall next to the window. “BOOOOOOOM” I saw a person fly up into the air. “I think that’s my brother! Where did he come from?” I wondered
When I stared at my brother I didn’t realise that I was flying up in the air. Until I felt my feet were weightless. I was flapping my arms like a bird but it didn’t help. I landed in an alleyway. The impact was an equivalent of a TNT on my body.
Keni was searching for me and he found me. He dropped down from the air and landed with a cool pose. I tried to crawl away from him. But Keni punched me. I did the same to him but he kept dodging it like he was moving at the speed of light. The fight was like a cat and a dog having a fight.
My arms were getting tired like it was falling apart. My hopeless body felt an earthquake just hit it. Keni was charging his energy beam.
“ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ”
I could feel my hopeless body about to end . He was half way to kill me. I tried to move my body but it was a frozen block of ice.
“Did you know i’m your lost older brother? Our mother died because you were born now you shall pay the ultimate price”
Keni was about to hit me with his energy beam but I stopped it. By covering his hand luckily the shockwave didn’t activate.
“What just happened with my powers,” he yelled
“You just don’t get it. I was born with powers that’s why we’re brothers” I answered with a proud voice
I teleported behind him and pushed him against the wall. I punched him like a machine gun. The wall was getting destroyed like a jackhammer was hitting it. When he slowly fell to the ground I quickly hit him with my dark beam. Keni was passed out, he had been defeated.
Suddenly the mayor came up to me and said proudly,
“You young man you will be the defender of this city”.
1 week ago
It’s been a week ago and I was having a holiday on a tropical island that was not discovered. I hear the news that Keni went to a prison that no one can get out of there. I decide that I will keep powers a secret. But what if Keni somehow broke out of prison and told anybody that I have powers. Luckily the mayor didn't see me. If Keni tells everybody I will stop but it’s another story for another time.

Today I will be posting my word of the week. The word for this week is a simple word called creative. Creative means imaginative and talented. Also it can mean gifted. Gifted it's a rare thing that you got when your a kid that has have a really high IQ. Here my awesome work I have done.

Today I will be talking about our school tree planting at Springfield. When the 8.30 am bell rings we have to wait for the other students to come to the library until 9.15 am. When we got all the students we went to the car park to ride a mini bus and a teacher aide's car. Then we started to go to Springfield. It was a 55 minute car ride.
When we arrived at Springfield we went to the bathroom and walked to the Springfield giant donut and took some photos. After that we went back to our vehicles and went to the farm were we going to plant trees.
We went to the owner's farm house. The owners names are Dick and Jenny. They were very nice and polite. We had our morning tea on the grass. Then went to Bell bird farm to plant trees. Before we went to the farm we saw the owner's lamb which was born an hour ago and took his or her first steps.
Then went to the field that has holes for the trees and fertilizer tablets. To plant a tree you need the fertilizer tablet in the hole. Then put the tree and crumble the soil and put it in and to step on it so air doesn't go to the hole. After that you got the small blanket so that weeds don't grow there. Then you put the cone on and put metal rod in. Then you keep repeating it and I think we planted over 120 trees. Then we went to the field that has cows and we talked so loud at them that they ran away.
But when we were quiet the cows came closer to us and there was a electric fence on the field. After that we washed our hands and ate our lunch. Then we went back to school. Here's the photos

In this term we still doing language features
Today I will be posting my plot writing graph. What is a writing plot graph? Well it's a story that starts explain all the characters and a problem starts rising up like a mountain and a solution to fix the problem. Our google drawing is a plot graph and we have to fill it in. The story that we are writing, we need to be in the story.
