• Equipment : 

• Petri dish
• Cotton tip
• Marker 
•  Sellotape 

Instruction 

1.  Get your equipment 

2. divide your plate using a maker pen/ You can do 1 line or two line.

3. Label the sections with what you swab 

4. Get a cotton tip and swab a surface. 

5. GENTLY swab the surface of the agar jelly. 

Making Ginger Beer

 Aim :

I want to make ginger beer without buying store bought ginger beer.

Ginger beer 

Method : 

Get a Equipment :

1. Yeast

2. Lemon juice 

3. Sugar 

3. Ginger powder 

4. Luke Warm Water/ Warm Water 

5. Bottle or any container to hold it. 

Instructions :

Get your yeast and put on a bottle or container. Put a little warm water on the bottle. Put 4 table spoons of sugar and let it sit for ten minutes. Because the yeast will activate it and makes carbon dioxide and smells alcohol and kinda taste like it. Put more water put not all the way. Put lemon juice but just a bit. Then put ginger and keep tasting it until you like it. If it's too sweet put more ginger. Too spicy you put more sugar or put a bit of water.

It tasted alcohol and smells like it and I can taste the ginger on it.

Hot Chili Tasting

 Aim :

I want to find out if capsaicin can be dissolved by milk.

Method :

Equipment 

• Hot Sauce
• Toothpick
• Stopwatch 

Instruction 

1. Get all of your equipment 
2. Dip the toothpick in the hot sauce.
3. Suck the hot sauce off the toothpick
4. Start timing
5. Stop timing when it stops burning  

My recorded time : 4.57 M 

With Water : 3.43 M 

With Soda:  3.46 M ]

With milk and Extra Hot Sauce : 5 M +

Blind Taste Testing

 Aim :

I want to find out how things taste.

Research : 

Method :

• Equipment : 
• blind fold 
• unjustified food 

instruction 

 1. Gather equipment

2. Put your blindfold on

3. Taste the food. 

4. Question yourself what do you taste like sweet, bitter, spicy, salty and sour.

5. record you self in a table.

Result:         

When I stick my hand own Mr Stock gave us a piece of food. It felt like something soft and shaped like a half moon. He told us to eat it and it tasted lemon and it was sweet. It was a gummy fruit and when I block my nose it tasted less lemon. The second one was critic acid it like it was needles going to my tongue and I block my nose and it felt more stronger and more sour. The third one was baking soda. It tasted salty and bitter if you block your nose it tasted like the secound food. The fourth one was salt and I got a lot of it because I thought it was sugar. When I put it on my mouth it was salty on the tip of tongue. The fifth one was sugar and it nice and I blocked my nose and It still tasted more sweeter. The last unknown one was baking power and it was fizzy on my mouth and it fizzed like sherbet  

  

Music of Decades

 Hello, everyone and welcome back to my blog

Today we're going to talk about music of decades and also talk about my favourite one. Music of Decades is a work that we did on our hurumanu. We have search up the most popular musics and write a description about it. We have start off in the 1900's to the 2010. In the olden days's they didn't have auto tune. So some of the audio is like hearing sparks while listening to the old music.     

My favourite decade of the music is in the 1920's is the Cuban Moon. Because it's relaxing and makes you sleepy but we can also hearing the spark in the background. The artist was Carl Fenton's Orchestra.The 1920's is started to invent more genres of musics. Most of them is invented by African Americans.

Ukulele

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog, 

Today we are going to talk about Ukulele. Ukulele is basically a mini guitar with four strings and less parts. Ukulele is much cheaper than a guitar and it's much more easier to learn and play. Last week we learn how to play the Ukulele. We first off learn about the notes they have like G,C,E and A and the majors and minors. We started off to learn G major and then the rest. I had eczema and more harder to play.

Ukulele is portable and much more cheaper that a guitar. But there's another guitar that is much more portable that Ukulele. It's a travel guitar but it's much more expensive.

A Ukulele has 12 parts like the headstock, tuners, nut, frets, neck, fret space, fret board, sound hole, body, strings, saddle and the bridge. The Ukulele was first originated in Madeira in north Africa. It was made the 1900's. Here's a video how to play the ukulele

Stomp

 Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog,

Today I will show our own stomp video. Stomp is a video that they use home appliances to make music. They use utensil to make a drum sticks to hit the pots and pans. Our own version was using school stuff to make our own stomp. Our group use a colour pencil bucket, a table, rulers, pens and markers. 

Shadrach was hitting the bucket and he was beat maker. Jason was making a beat with his pen and hand. First he hits hand and then he hits the pen to the table. We each have different time to make our own beat. Isaiah was doing the same thing as Jason but more slower and louder. Me I was hitting the ruler and my hand in the same time. Together when all of us are doing a beat we do it four times and we stopped.
