Metaphors

Hi readers welcome back to my blog.

Today I will be posting my language feature writing. This week our language feature is metaphors. Metaphors are like a simile but without using as or like. Here is a metaphor list and my work.

 Metaphor list

I was in the Amazon Rainforest to uncover the truth of the hidden treasure.

The rain forest was super dangerous; it was like standing on a volcano.

I managed to set a tent on the soft muddy dirt. The rain was raining cats and dogs.

It almost made a hole in my tent. I slept like a baby that needed milk

14 hours later

The ground was slippery like ice. I was walking so much that my legs were getting chopped.

I accidentally stepped onto a twig and a vine grabbed my leg and made me upside down.

I tried to untie the vine but it was tied like 1 million times.

I was upside down for 1 hour and all my blood was on my head finally the vine let go.

But I fainted like I was dead.

I woke to see a tent around me. Suddenly the wind was a howling wolf. It got colder. I

“ Whooshh”

I went to the tent to see a person standing on the tent. My eyes were ice as he stared at her.

“ Oh you were awake” ???

“ Why are you here” I said

“ To uncover the truth about the hidden treasure” ??? said

“ That’s I’m going to do too” I answered

“ Oh then let's work together” ??? said

To be continued maybe....
